I began this work long before it had a name. What started as an obsession with how light falls across a face — the way it reveals character, softens grief, or sharpens joy — became a lifelong discipline. Over 25 years, that discipline has shaped every frame I've made.
Since 2017, I've been based in California, where the quality of light — coastal, golden, and endlessly varied — continues to inform everything I create. My work spans portrait photography, cinematic film, and legacy filmmaking. Each discipline is distinct, but the intention behind all of it is the same: to make something that holds.
